Uno is currently seeking a Hatfield-based "Driver Manager" to lead and develop our growing team of bus drivers.  This is a challenging hands-on role where you will positively influence and develop our existing drivers and nurture our new staff into the business.
You would be daily & actively engaging with our driver team and trade union representatives with
  • Driver coaching
  • Investigatory interviews
  • Disciplinary & Grievance cases
  • Flexible work interviews
  • Attendance & Sickness matters
  • Annual leave requests
  • Probation reviews
The role involves you being one of the first points of contact for our driver teams.
Also, you will be assisting the senior management team in areas such as recruitment & training events, and supporting other areas of the business and our other depots.
Essential is a proven & successful experience leading and developing front-line staff. We operate within a busy, unionised environment. Applicants ideally should have proven experience from within the transport industry.
