The Uno Bus Cranfield Connect routes operate across Bedfordshire between Milton Keynes, Cranfield and Bedford. 

This network is designed to serve Cranfield University and the surrounding communities.  Following some changes in Government policies regarding overseas students unfortunately fewer students are attending the university. Therefore, in order to continue to maintain the viability of this network we have been making changes to even better serve the local communities. 

Over the past two years complimentary routes around our services have changed, and the revisions to the network reflect this.  For example we have improved our service to Newport Pagnell in Milton Keynes, and we have improved our service to Kempston and Wootton in Bedford. 

The routes that we currently operate will be withdrawn. These are C1, C10 and C11. 

The New Routes 

C1 Milton Keynes – Newport Pagnell – Cranfield University – Cranfield – Marston Moretaine – Wootton – Kempston – Bedford 

C2 Milton Keynes – Moulsoe – Cranfield University – Cranfield – Wootton – Kempston – Bedford 

C3 Milton Keynes – Kingston – Marston Moretaine – Cranfield – Cranfield University  

Routes C5 and CX also operate 

Buses on the new network operate daily.  Route C1 operates Hourly Monday to Friday, and two hourly Saturday and Sunday. 

Route C2 operates roughly 90 minutes Monday to Friday, and every 3 hours on Saturdays, there is no service on Sundays. 

Route C3 operates every 120 minutes Monday to Sunday.

Buses in Milton Keynes 

Cranfield Connect buses serve local communities in Milton Keynes.  Route C1 provides an hourly service between central Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell.  The last buses towards Newport Pagnell are at 1830, 1930 and 2130. 

Route C2 runs between central Milton Keynes, the Coachway and Moulsoe. 

Route C3 connects central Milton Keynes, Kingston Retail Park and Eagle Farm every 2 hours.  This service operates Monday to Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 

Buses in Bedford 

Cranfield Connect buses provide the main inter urban buses on the Kempston and Wootton corridor. Route C1 runs hourly Monday to Friday, and 2 hourly Saturday and Sunday.  Route C2 runs along the same corridor every 90 minutes Monday to Friday, and every 3 hours on Saturdays.  The last buses towards Cranfield on route C1 are at 1835, 1935, 2120 and 2320. 

Route C1 serves the following roads in Wootton – Bedford Road, Cause End Road, Church Road, Fields Road and Bedford Road towards Marston Moretaine.  The C1 operates the same route in the  Route C2 serves the following roads in Wootton – Bedford Road, Fields Road, Burgoyne Avenue and then Cranfield Road towards the University. It runs the same route in the opposite direction.

Holywell School, Cranfield Village 

Cranfield Connect buses serve Holywell School in Cranfield.  Students can travel from Marston Moretaine to this school. 

Kimberley College and Wootton Upper School 

Cranfield Connect buses serve both of these campuses from Bedford and from Cranfield.
