Service Changes

There are no planned changes to the following routes – 341/641, 610, 625 and 843

242 Potters Bar and Waltham Cross

Following a reduction in the BSIP financial support from HCC, this service will now operate hourly between Potters Bar and Waltham Cross Monday to Saturday. This service is now operated under contract to HCC.

243 Hatfield, Potters Bar and Barnet

This route will provide the main service between Hatfield and Potters Bar. It continues to operate hourly Monday to Saturday. This service is operated commercially but is pump-primed, supported by BSIP funding.

602 Hatfield, St Albans, Radlett and Watford

This service reverts to operating half-hourly between Hatfield and Watford. The short workings will no longer operate between Hatfield and St Albans. We had generated 7% year-on-year passenger growth, but we were not able to cover the cost of operation, and given the current state of finances, we were not able to continue.

We were also going to withdraw the Sunday service; however, HCC have agreed to part-fund this so the timetable remains unchanged.

612 Luton, Harpenden and Hatfield

This school service will no longer operate. We have diverted the X10 to serve Oaklands College and this will hopefully cater for most journeys.

614 Hatfield, Barnet, Edgware and Queensbury (also 644)

There are some minor changes to timings but the vast majority of the timetable remains unaltered.

635 Hatfield, Garston, Watford and Watford General Hospital

The timetable for this service is due to be reduced to one bus operating broadly hourly, but it will continue to work around shift patterns at the Hospital. The service continues to operate just Monday to Friday.

690 The Shuttle serving Angerland Park and Ride

Reduced service from 21st-25th September, main service reinstated from Monday 28th September. Minor changes to the timetable.

X10 Luton, Harpenden, Oaklands and Hatfield

The timetable has been changed and will now operate every hour. Alongside the 610, we will provide 3 journeys per hour from Luton rather than 4. This change reflects the reduction in students travelling from Luton.

PB1 Potters Bar Local Service

This is a tendered route. We will no longer operate this route. HCC are currently seeking a new operator.
