As from Sunday 30th August routes 242 and 243 will be changing
Route 242 will no longer be extended from Potters Bar to Hatfield, to catch a bus over this section of route customers will need to transfer.
We do sincerely apologise for any negative impact this change will make.
The 242 was extended to Hatfield using Bus Service Improvement Plan funding, the extension has been reasonably successful but the increase in passengers has not offset the increase in cost without additional funding. As a result the service has returned to operating as it was before.

A new timetable book will be available in due course.
Hertfordshire County Council will organise the changes to the roadside publicity and the electronic displays closer to the time.
