Old Stevenage High Street

Due to ongoing work on the Old Stevenage High Street, the road is closed. We are unable to serve the High Street. We are diverting along Lytton Way. The nearest stop for Old Stevenage is The Archways Hotel. This diversion is both ways.

Batchwood Drive

St Albans Half Marathon

During the St Albans Half Marathon, we will be diverting along St Peter's Street to Harpenden Road, Green Lane and High Oaks.

We will not be serving stops from Catherine Street to Woollam Crescent.

Shenley Hill Closed

Due to carriageway lining works, we will be unable to serve Shenley Hill. We will be diverting towards Borehamwood and along Theobold Street. 

We will be unable to serve stops from Shenley Park to Williams Way.

Bullocks Lane

Due to roadworks, we will be unable to serve Bullocks Lane; we will be serving Essendon and then diverting along the A414.

We will be unable to serve stops from Howe Green to Richard Hale School.

Due to roadworks, we will be unable to serve Lower Hatfield Road; we will be serving Essendon and then diverting along the A414.

St Albans City Centre Closure

Two-phase closure of St Albans City Centre

Due to planned works from 16th June to 24th June, there will be two sets of diversions:

Phase 1: 16th to 20th June:

Buses will divert along Stanhope Road, serve the City station, and then divert along Alma Road, onto London Road. Then across to the High Street, onto Verulam Road. They will then turn onto Batchwood Drive before returning to the line of route. This will be both ways.

Phase 2: 22nd to 24th June:

After serving City Station, buses will divert along Hatfield Road and onto Catherine Street before returning to the line of route.

This is only between 20:00 and 05:00

St Albans City Centre Closure

Two-phase closure of St Albans City Centre

Due to planned works from 16th June to 24th June, there will be two sets of diversions:

Phase 1: 16th to 20th June:

Due to road closure, we will be diverting along Well Road to Sheperds Way and A1000.

The nearest stops served will be Two Brewers PH and Bus Garage.

Bushey Mill Lane

Due to roadworks, we will be unable to serve Bushey Mill Lane. We will be diverting along the A41 and St Albans Road. 

We will not be serving stops from Douglas Avenue to Bushey Mill Crescent. The nearest stops will be Bushey Mill Lane and Widgeon Way.

St Albans Pilgrimage

Due to multiple road closures for the annual St Albans Pilgrimage, after serving City station, we will then divert along Alma Road, onto London Road. This will be both ways.

We will not be able to serve the City Centre.

Due to multiple road closures for the annual St Albans Pilgrimage, after serving City station, we will then divert along Lemsford Road, onto Sandpit Lane, then onto Harpenden Road, to Townsend Drive before returning to the line of route.  This will be both ways.

We will be unable to serve stops from Iceland to Goldsmith Way. Nearest stops will be City Station and St Albans Hospital. We will not be able to serve the City Centre.
