Industry Placement of the Year Award for Uno

Monday evening saw staff attend Oaklands College for the Employer Celebration Event, where Uno were presented with the Industry Placement of the Year award. Uno has had a long and established link to Oaklands College, and we were delighted to become involved with the T Level vocational qualifications they offer students. Designed to help prepare students for future workplaces, the courses mix hands-on experience in a workplace along with traditional classroom teaching. Uno hosted some great students, who worked hard and really achieved their course aims, and it was an honour for Uno to play a part in their educational journey. Uno looks forward to not only continuing its support of Oaklands College but developing that support further and offering more opportunities to students in the near future.
