Route 625

This new route replaces the northern section of 635 operating between Hatfield, Stevenage and Lister Hospital, roughly every 2 hours Monday to Friday.

Important News about Bus Routing in Hatfield.

 

Route 635 is being split into two at Hatfield; the northern section towards Stevenage will become the 625.

It will operate roughly every 90 minutes, but the important thing to note is the changes to the routing in Hatfield.

The bus from Stevenage will operate the same route to College Lane campus, serving the business park, De Havilland Campus, The Galleria and College Lane. The bus will then return directly towards Stevenage using the A1 at the University Junction.  This means that customers will need to get back on the bus at the same stop as they left the bus, going in the same direction.  This may feel incorrect, but the bus will not return to the stop on the opposite side.  It will now operate a one-way loop around Hatfield, designed to save time.
