Most fares will be increased by 10p from this date (some by a bit more although others will be unchanged).

For the first time in several years the price of the popular uno day ticket will be increased from £4.50 to £5.00 - the weekly ticket will go up to £20 and the monthly to £65.

The St Albans city rover will increase from £2.50 to £3 for the daily ticket and from £9 to £10 for the weekly version. From this date the ticket will be valid on all uno bus services within the city zone.

The changes are necessary because of the increased cost pressures faced by unobus in the current economic climate.
