Why are the bus stopping arrangements at deHavilland campus so poor? | |

This is a matter of great concern
to the bus operators Uno and Arriva who have petitioned vigorously for
improved stopping arrangements at this location. The problem is that the main stops for deHavilland campus will eventually be located on the perimeter road but due to a failure to reach agreement on the specification of the new bus stop infrastructure between the various parties involved the situation has dragged on for well over 2 years This is giving out all the wrong signals in an era when strenuous efforts are being made to encourage car users to use public transport. You can rest assured that the bus operators will continue to push hard for early resolution of this problem. |
